Malayalee Engineers' Association - Scholarship Information

MEA started a scholarship program in 2000 to help students in Kerala pursue engineering, technology, computer science, or naval architecture studies leading to a Bachelor's Degree.

We have awarded over 45 scholarships over the past few years.
The award is for $500 (revised amount for awards from 2007) per year for 4 years ($2000 in all) provided the awardee maintains the high academic standard set by MEA and is based on a merit-cum-means criteria (academic quality and financial need).

Scholarship Applications for 2008

MEA is now accepting applications for Scholarships for 2008. Please enquire with your college-office if they have a copy of MEA Scholarship Application Kit for 2008. If its not available at your college-office, please send us an email. You may also download and print the material from our website using the links below.
All application forms with required documnents must reach MEA by mail on or before December-15, 2008. Please post all material 10days before deadline by ordinaly mail (not registered or by courier). Please use envelopes that won't tear easily.

Winners for 2007 Awards have been announced!.
There is no need to communicate with MEA at this time, if you are an applicant. MEA will contact all winners individually, via email.
Winners are expected to send us an Affidavit as soon as possible. Please contact MEA by email if your name is in the list below and you haven't replied to our email yet.

Scholarship Winners are expected to be in regular communication with the Scholarship Coordinator via email and update MEA with required documents and information throughout the four years at college.
